Don't miss our Back to School Bash this Saturday!

What are you doing this Saturday?  Come and hang out with the Newton-Conover Community at our annual Back to School Bash! All community members families are welcomed to attend.  The Back to School Bash will be held at Southside Park in Newton this Saturday, August 12th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Students will get free school supplies, a free hot dog lunch will be provided, in addition to inflatables, and other surprises -- there is something for the whole family!

Don't miss this opportunity to kick off the 2017-18 school year this Saturday!  We look forward to seeing you there!

South Newton Elementary teachers, students and leaders were recently filmed by international educational literacy program Letterland. Class of 1967 Announces 50-Year Reunion Plans

Friday, June 9th - Early Release Announcement

Newton-Conover City Schools will operate on modified early release schedule for students on Friday, June 9, 2017. 

FRIDAY, JUNE 9, 2017 DISMISSAL:
12:15 p.m. ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS
12:00 p.m. CONOVER SCHOOL
11:40 a.m. MIDDLE SCHOOL
11:40 a.m. HIGH SCHOOLS
After-school care will begin immediately at dismissal, with Monday beginning Summer Camp for Pre-K and school-age students at North Newton Elementary School.

Friday, June 9, 2017 is the last student day of the 2016-2017 school year.
