How to Add Experience to Your Educator License

If you are adding experience as a professional educator or experience as a teacher assistant to your license, you need to download Form E Professional Educator's License Experience Verification. Complete the top part of the form and have the school district where you obtained that experience complete the "To the Employer" section. They will return the form to you. You will then need to apply to add your experience at the NC DPI Licensure Site and upload the form and pay your $60 fee by credit card.

If you have any questions about this process, please do not hesitate to reach out to HR.
