The NCCS Board of Education has approved to continue offering meals at NO COST to households, provided by USDA's Community Eligibility Program (CEP), for the following sites for the 25-26 school year - Conover School, Shuford, North Newton, South Newton, NC Middle and our newest added site - NC High School!
CEP provides breakfast and lunch at no cost for students at the approved sites. (Applications will only be needed for Discovery High School student households). Every meal served helps support your local school nutrition program and allows us to provide a better service for all students.
Congress has approved changes to programs that may affect us being able to offer CEP in the future; so during this time of economic uncertainty, and increasing costs on all household necessities, please take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to have your students eat at no cost to you while it is available.
