Monday night, senior Red Devils Owen Clark and Cassidy Geddes were honored as Scholar Athletes of Excellence at the Catawba County Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Cassidy Geddes was selected as Catawba County’s Female Scholar Athlete of the Year. Congratulations to Cassidy and Owen! #groundedandgrowing




Monday was Bring your Legislator to School Day! Thank you to Senator Dean Proctor for visiting N-CCS and spending time at N-CHS. N-CHS had an opportunity to highlight some of their programs for students, Senator Procotor visited classrooms preparing for EOCs, and he talked to students about their hopes for NC. #groundedandgrowing




N-CHS Football staff and players visited North Newton and South Newton. They demonstrated football drills and activities that athletes will experience during the upcoming FREE Youth Football Camp. They also shared information from the City of Newton Parks & Recreation Youth Football Registration. Flyers were sent home with students. #groundedandgrowing
