Discovery High School has had three students complete Eagle Scout projects on their campus. Fletcher Cromer built an outdoor classroom that DHS students will have access to. Ben Hall built a drainage ditch to help divert water away from the school building. Ben also installed parking spot blocks to help divert the water as well. He cleaned up and planted a variety of plants around a storage shed to help filter any pollutants from the runoff water, too. Lastly, Tanner Page, who's Eagle Scout project was to improve the garden area. He recovered the greenhouse, redid the fence around the garden, built a compost bin, and built two raised beds. His efforts will make it so that DHS can grow vegetables which they can provide to members of our community. #groundedandgrowing
