A dash provides a perfect underline to write words or phrases to indicate meaning or personal connection to the words being connected by the dash. In that dash, our staff find their connection to Newton-Conover City Schools. Ashley Bandy at Newton-Conover High School DASH is…
"To me, the dash means connection. The dash does not only physically connect the letters, but it also connects our cities. Our school district works to challenge political, business, and community leaders to connect over a common goal -- Providing the highest quality education for students in Newton and Conover. As a graduate of Newton-Conover City Schools, I chose to return to teach for N-CCS because of how connected the communities are to each other, and how connected the community is to the schools."
