At the Janaury 21, 2025 N-CCS Board Meeting, Chorus members Kennedy Ferson and Phoebe Harmon and Chorus Teacher Shannor Rogers were recognized for being named to All County Chorus. Other All County Members not present: Ella Franklin, Lyla Hedrick, Adele Odom, Tony Rangel-Cortes, James Ross, Connor Travis.

On January 21, 2025 the Newton-Conover Board of Education also recognized the Band Director Andy Escamilla and Newton-Conover High School Band for All County and All District Honors as well as the conclusion of the 2024 Marching Band Season.

On January 21, 2025 South Newton Digital Learning Facilitator Amanda Coffey; Instructional Coach Tabetha Reynolds; and Counselor Quintin Knight were recognized by the N-CCS Board of Education.

Also recognized by the N-CCS Board of Education were teachers Michelle Bumgardner, Tiffany Ramseur, and Amanda Ghorley. January 21, 2025.

At its January 21, 2025 Board Meeting, the N-CCS Board of Education recognized South Newton Staff Members Teacher Jordan Abreu and Speech Therapist Misty Moretz.

The N-CCS Board of Education recognized South Newton Elementary Teachers Amber Travis and Ashley Galloway for their continued contributions to the district.

South Newton Elementary School Student Council Members were recognized at the January 21, 2025 Board Meeting.

At the January 21, 2025 N-CCS Board Meeting, Shuford Teacher Yocelyn Almanza was presented a Certificate for being a Burroughs Wellcome Fund Beginning Teacher of the Year Finalist and a check from Empower. Presenting the award was Dr. Brock Womble, Executive Director of NCCAT; Justin Parmenter, NCCAT;s Board of Trustees; and Lionel Gruslin with Empower. Congratulations Ms. Almanza.

At the 1-21-25 Newton-Conover City Schools Board of Education Meeting, the Newton-Conover High School NJROTC presented the Colors. Left Rifle was Cadet Seaman Luna; American Flag and Commanding was Cadet Ensign White; State Flag was Cadet Master Chief Petty Officer Yang; and Right Rifle was Cadet Petty Officer Third Class Goyco.
